The Perfect Fit!

Jeans are a wardrobe staple, even if you don't wear them often you need at least
 one good pair in your closet.
Finding the perfect Jean is a task that can take a while, but the perfect fit can make all the difference in your comfort levels, confidence and sexiness.
Understanding your shape is the key to finding your perfect fit.
So here it is;

                    Your ultimate jean guide.

Curvy;;
Slim up the top with narrow shoulders and a little fuller around the thighs and bottom.
 Example-Christina Aguliera.

Hourglass;;
The classic voluptuous shape with a cinched in waist.
Example-Christina Hendricks.

Athletic;;
Lean almost boyish silhouette.
 Example-Taylor Swift.

                        How to find your dream fit:

Rise- check the front fly stitch line & length and be sure that it doesn't shorten or lengthen your waistline.
This can make you look out of proportion and thats the last thing you need.

Length-keep in mind what shoes you wear. For every day jeans, the seam should sit just below your ankle and and lightly touch the top of your foot, perfect for sneakers, ballet flats and sandals.
For "going out" jeans add appox 2-3cm's to allow for the height for your heel.

Waistline-the waistline of your jeans should not gap, test them out before you buy them: squat, sit, bend. Make sure no one can see unwanted areas.

Pockets-front and back pockets must look in proportion and be positioned correctly.
Small pockets will widen your butt, big pockets with make it look smaller.
Be carful of the detailing on pockets,the patten may look really nice but do you really want to draw that extra attention?

                                               The BAD!

                                          The GOOD!

Last ditch tips:
  • Once you know exactly what your looking for it's going to be easier to find it- but make sure you take your time.
  • You need to feel amazing in them cause you're wearing them, not you friends or the sales person,
  • Don't talk your self into them-it's like love, if you don't feel it straight away then don't force it.

Happy hunting!
xoxo

style crush::ASHLEY TISDALE

Even with her tendency to play ditz ridiculous characters,I love Ashley! Miss Tisdale's style is a workable combination of mixed genres, effortlessly melting together.

Bits & pieces from different styles are used by Tisdale to create her own sense of fashion that reflects her creative musical background.
It's a simple mix between "good girl","rocker" & "comfy-ol'-casual"
This is super easy to re-create but the trick, when mixing multiple styles is to keep it reasonably simple, Don't overload, too much is bad & mixing more then 2 styles at a time is really tricky business.

I love Ashley's looks, here are some of my favorites;;

Clueless Closet

Remember that awesome scene in 'Clueless' were Cher is choosing her outfit, and shes flipping through her closet on her computer and it has all of her accessories grouped in to catagories and then into styles.
Incase you dont know what I'm talking about,watch this: Cher's Closet.

I dont know about you guys but I love that movie, and I've always been jealous of her closet.
But now, In this era of technology and computers and iPhones we can have Cher's Closet.
...well not the clothes but the technology.
And heres the best part: You can have it on your computer & your iPhone.

YOU CAN TAKE YOUR CLOSET WITH YOU!!!!

So heres how you do it-
or
search for trimirror in the app store (also available for android phones)

You can create a profile on your phone or your computer it literally takes 2seconds.
Fill in the details- your style inspirations, favorite brands & stores.

After that you have to find an hour (depending on how big your closet is)
 to take photos of everything in you wardrobe.
It's not absolutly necessary to photograph everything but if you want to use the app like cher does then yes take photos of you clothes.

heres some tips:
  • Take Photos of items individually.
  • use a plain black or white background.
Heres the other awesome thing about the trimirror app:

So you get all dressed up, just about to leave but your not to sure about your shoes.
you have 10 mins to decide if they work with your look, and your bestfriend cant recieve photos on her phone.
So heres what you do, you take a photo of your outfit and your shoes on your phone, you then post it to trimirror-

Select fashion,Click the snap and share camaraYou type your question into the box, click S.O.S (Basically means you need an answer asap) then post.
People will post back with their oppinions and look through your closet and suggest other items.

Theres also the classic "facebook" type component where you set a profile photo and add friends.
in which case add me!
 @naoise.

This app is Amazing, I use it every day, even if im not going anywhere just so cause its heaps of fun & its FREE! (got to love the free stuff)

Trust me fashion lovers, get this app!!!!!!!

Style Crush: Dianna Agron.

I am a massive Glee fan.
The music, The drama, the costumes. It's Just awesome.
But the fashion is fantastic and Dianna Agron, carries that fashion through to her everyday life,
and I have to admitt I cant help but lust over her wardrobe.

I love her relaxed style!
Agron is a Layer-ing queen:never settling for one piece & mixing style trends with ease,
 to create a style of her own that screams natural fashionista.
. Beacause of Dianna's easy attitude to structured fashion and mixing style trends its really easy to copy, and make your own.
The key to stealing this song birds style is statement pieces, paired with your regular basics, neutral colour palettes with the occasional bright for fun.
And simple accessories to let the clothes do all the talking

Last Meal by Henry Hargreaves

A normal minded ppl will not eat anything or drink anything on their penalty day. ‘No Seconds’ is a photo series by New York based photographer Henry Hargreaves that shows the last meals of murders who were on death row. In a fascinating choice, artist Henry Hargreaves re-created the requested last meals of some of the most heinous criminals. Some of the meals look quite delicious while others leave one mystified as to what went on in the mind of the killer.

Microwave Case Mod

This is a very old, but very clever casemod where the modder turned his microwave into a computer. Don't starve! Don't leave the computer, either! The kitchen is fifteen feet away, and nothing there is worth that much trouble. The LCD screen is of course built into the window and it looks great with that screensaver that shows a plate of food going round and round.
