Max me polly!

The diva behind the game?-Danimezza
This weeks theme-
maxi skirt

I love maxi skirts.
They are so comfy, light weight and simple to dress & accesories.
My favorite type of maxi is the cotton one-
It's perfect as its fitted and then loosens to still create a flowing hem line.
Add a matching tank top & break up the monocrome with a chunky belt to accentuate your waist.
Summery strapy sandles are great for maxi's & they match the belt ;)
Add a cute sadle bag, Chuncky bangles and a statement cocktail ring to add a dash of Bohemian to your look!
For make-up all you need is a dramatic somkey eye to bring colour to your face.

Whats your favorite maxi?

First Impressions: The School & date edition.

First Impressions last forever.
So it's genuinely a good idea to make a
presentable & respective one.
When it comes to first impressions for school & first dates this is easily achieved if you know what your looking for::
Neat-
hair & appearance.
Neutral-
Make-up & jewelry
Basic-
colours & cuts

For example;
This is my outfit for my first day at Billy blue
(well close to it)

school
The key is simplicity.
Simple cuts,
shoes &
make-up.

This top is a great example:
its a perfect cut for most body types
and the shoulder to waist detail is cute
but style neutral so it doesn't over power.

I love my accessories so this bracelet set is a must for me; the colours keep with the simple theme but are still ultra stylish!

Simple neutral or nude make-up is a must for this look-you don't want to get a barbie rep. =/

Nice jeans are a great way to dress down a semi fancy top and keep the look casual.
(Avoid rips or details-for the love of fashion, please!)

One tip I can not stress enough when it comes to a school outfit:
No heels, trust me its not a good idea.
Ballet flats, sandles & boots are your best investment.
If you must have a heel, make it a small one...
(But no kitten heels please, we aren't seven! lol )
So whats your go to pieces of fashion for a great first impression?
love,

Contrast Polly.

The Diva behind the game-Danimezza
This weeks theme...
contrast

Black & white are so boring...
;)

I love this Alexander McQueen bandage dress only he could make red & blue look so sexy!
To carry the sexiness through to your accessories add
hot red pumps and a panel clutch.
Chunky contrasting Blue & Red bangles carry the drama to the the jewelery.
For makeup Dramatic Black liquid liner, long lashes, Sexy red lips & electric blue nails.
Finally Polly got a hair cut & straightened her hair with her GHD.
 ie;;

love,

Miley Cyrus;;

I have to admit that I'm a Miley fan.
(yes i love Hannah Montana too!)
Though i  don't approve of everything she wears,
...or does the girl knows how to put a unique stylish outfit together.

Style with a country rock twist ;;
Cyrus always has more then one unique piece in her ensemble.
Think Big chunky necklaces, cocktail rings (sometimes one on each finger), boots and leather jackets.

Shopping is cheaper then a psychiatrist .....

Shopping- Retail therapy:
  • A new start,
  • a new life,
  • and a new wardrobe.

 Relax- take time for you.
Think about what you want & need.

Friends-...that support you & look out for you worth the world.

Comforts- coffee & chocolate.
But right now I'm using
Vodka cruisers & ice cream
with hard chocolate topping, nerds & 100's n 1000's
...
to get over mine.

With love,Polly

The Aphrodite behind the game-Danimezza
This weeks theme-Valentines Day.

I'm a girly girl. I like roses and chocolates and the idea of a whole day devoted entirely to love.
vday

I'll be keeping things simple and cassic.
I love this red dress, so romatic & classy.
Add some peals and a simple silver braclet,
Nude pumps for a dramatic change from the red, teamed with my dream chanel tote (in nude!)
for make up a simple liquid liner to define your eyes, some nude eyeshaow & blush for some shape and definitition.
For totally kissable lips you cant go past nude lipstick!
A dash of perfume & a soft curl and your all dolled up and ready to be loved up!

Style Crush; Hilary Duff

Come on you knew I was going to do it sooner or later....

Click here to see the obsession.

Hilary Duff
 I love Hilary's style.
Chic & comfy with an eclectic twist.

Hilary's wardrobe is alot like Kathrine's- it't built on staples.
The only difference is that Hilary adds a unique piece to the look,
for example:

Now This outfit is the perfect example.
Staple- Grey cardie, brown heeled boots, loose silk sure.
add-Plaid pants and a funky necklace.
easy.

To recreate Hilary's wardrobe invest in staple pieces,
and then splurge on unique items to integrate into your wardrobe.
The easiest way to do this is with jewelry as it's not limited to colour.

So are you a fan of the Mrs Mc Comrie's Style?

Polly's 15mins.

The hollywood starlet behind the game- Danimezza.
This weeks theme?
Celebrity

Okay, if by now you are still unaware of my obsession  adoration of this woman then you don't read this blog enough!

(heres a link to L.C's style crush, For more on Lauren click her name below this post =] )

One of my dreams is to dress her one day, even for an hour.
Not that she needs my help.
But heres what i'd put her in:
lc

This wrap dress is super cute and perfect for Lauren,
It still keeps with her classy style but adds a casual twist.
This Rebecca Minkoff Striped tote is so adorable & defiantly on my wish list,
The strips add an extra casual detail to the look.
Add navy nail polish, cute brown pumps & Laurens signature Wishbone necklace & a simple gold bangle for accessories.
For makeup- winged liquid liner, long lashes, nude lips and some neutral blush
for a slick classy-casual look.
I'd keep Laurens hair in that same flawless wave =]

And there you have it.
A causal twist on the already wonderfully stylish L.C.

So what do you think?
Love,
