I like to keep things simple an relaxed on NYE especially if I'm braving the crowed In Sydney city.

I feel like the worst blogger ever.
Currently I'm not near a computer with Internet and I've moved out.(sharing with a friend is awesome!!)
And so I'm using my beautiful trusty iPhone! Lol
I know I have missed so many Polly dollys and my normal programing; which sucks! And I can't wait to get back to it!

Good news though;; as of the 17th of this month 'the sweet life of..' will be back to it's regular stylish programing-and I will be back at school; constantly near a computer that's upto 21st century standards and able to connect with you lovely fashionistas.:D

Again I'm sorry for the Mia-ness I hope your all well and staying stylish.;)
I have so many great posts and articles on the way and can't wait to share them with you all and hope you'll enjoy them as much as I did writing them.

Polly in Highschool::

In high school i was the emo-arty-music chick and my hatred of high school was my religion.

My addiction to black nail polish and eyeliner was not welcomed inside the strict walls and rules of my private girls school. 

If i wasn't getting in trouble for them it was my thumb holes in my $80 school jumper.

When i wasn't wearing the ugliest school uniform ever;;

 I was in black skinny jeans which i thought i successfully teamed with a graphic tee and a cardigan.

Converse all-stars where my jimmy choo's.

I carried this massive bag which held my art book,pencils and my SLR camera. 

I refused to leave the house without my hair dead-straight. (i missed many days of school)

And my ipod was filled with 'The Used' and 'My Chemical Romance'

yer i thought i was cool....

....i wasn't.

Dont judge me lol...

So if were being completely honest, this is my style.
Id love to be like Lauren Conrad and walk around I'm heals all day but i cant.
I'm Veronica Mars at heart.

The great thing about a graphic tee is that its such an effortless item, and so easy to mix and match.
For me its usually a graphic tee with skinny jeans and one of my many biker or military jackets ( trust me i have heaps)
My handbag has to be able to fit books... and anything else i throw in there.
For shoes its usually combat boots, ballet flats or converse.
I live by my GHD and no matter what im wearing will always have my hair straightened.
Simple make-up :: mascara, eyeliner & lip balm.
And for accessories a statement ring and bracelet.

Royal polly

This weeks theme:

I dont know, Maybe it's just me; but i dont care about this will & kate wedding!

Yes i want to see her dress but other then that; i dont care.

In saying that this wedding seems to be the the biggest in a while since scott & sharlene from neighbours so i guess its a big deal..kinda.



...But i do love weddings, love and pretty dresses and the promise of eternal love. =]

This dress is to perfect wedding attire-I think this strong crimson red is such a great colour for weddings,

 and I just love the overlay of these sleeves.

This beautiful blush coat is pefect for a wedding- once again the colour is perfect for a wedding.

Compliment with pastles such as nude pumps and a cute blush clutch.

For accessories these gorgeous drop earrings are perfect!

Add simple nude eyeshadow, a touch of lengthening mascara, nude nail polish and deep red lipstick.

This simple girly hair do is perfect for the neckline of this dress.

This week polly's wearing-

 

I have always wanted glasses like this; (DVF) big bold, stylish and sophisticated.

unfortunatly being a red head and having a pale complextion means this style is a no go for me.

But my girl Polly can work it!

With this goregous one shoulder coral dress polly make sure the other dollys cant call her a geek.

Add a contrasting black belt and the waist of a little more shape,

Black Christian Louboutin pumps for long legs and a simple YSL black clutch.

For make-up sleek black eyeliner, mascara and black nailpolish is just what you need to carry this dramatic look.

I'm sorry if my Polly this week is a little boring;;

but I'm traditional when it comes to wedding outfits.

I adore this vintage gown; i think its perfect and these YSL pumps compliment the beaded bust of the dress perfectly!

A simple clean up do works well with the high neck line.

Nude and simple make up is the key to not overloading a white dress.

A thin line of liquid eyeliner on your top lid and some simple but dramatic lashes are all you need for this clean look.

Simple diamond studs for accessories and a beautiful bouquet of white roses.

Add a spritz of your favorite perfume and your all dolled up ( see what i did there?.. hehe) for your perfect day!

This weeks theme:

I love trench coats;
whenever i wear one i instantly feel more elegant- i think it has something to do with the simple cut and refined detail.
But they also remind me of two things:
France && Chanel.
I have fallen deeply in love with this coral dreass by Dorothy Perkins.
i love the scoop neck and the pleated bust that bleeds into the fuller skirt.
To contrast add black pumps, and a small black clutch.(chanel)
Simple mascara and a coral lip is all you need to bring colour to your make up.
Let the trench and the dress do all the talking with this look- so no accessories ( or extreamly simple ones if you must ;])
This trench from topshop is so adorable i want it!
I love the belt and the pleated detail.

The little black dress is a little glamours piece of fashion history,

and should be a stable in every girls wardobe.

This sweetheart LBD is so cute.

This weeks theme-

I'm really like the whole tom boy in a dress thing thats happening in fashion at the moment:

Doc martins (or ankle boots) with a dress give a cute twist, especially with such a girly print.

Add a blazer and a cute tote for a relaxed feminine look.

Keep make up light and simple with nude nails and lips & then just a touch of mascara and eyeliner.

Finish with a touch of your favorite perfume and a long necklace of some simple accessories.

Tights are a must for every girls wardobe-

they are so comfy and fun, and turn really short dresses & semi-fancy dresses into "acceptable for daylight & civilised society" dresses.

This Rose-magenta colour is my addiction at the moment, so i had to choose this beautiful tunic!

( i love the sleeves!!!)

Teamed with black pumps and the beautiful Balenciaga bag (<3); it's perfect for city shopping.

For accessories add a multi-layer necklace for length, and some chuncky bangles for added dazzle.

With this look dramatic black liner, volume mascara, a nude lip & some black nail polish is all you need.

Light curly waves work perfect with this outfit complamenting the relaxed sleeves of the tunic!

This weeks theme-

I loved Lea's look for the 2011 Golden Globes.

Very elegant yet, still youthful & girly!

Recreating this look is easy, with pastle pinks and nudes as your base colour palette.

For an interesting take on this look a choose to use this cocktail dress- an easy way to rereate this look for those of use that dont have red carpets to go to this season ;)

These pink pumps are Perfet for this dress as they dont onflit with the shape.

Add a nice simple braclet for some bling!

This look is all about the Glamous make-up;

A Dusty-pink Eye, and light somkey eyeliner, Volume lashes & a light pink lip.

Don't forget that expensive home mani-Light pink nails.

I love maxi skirts.
They are so comfy, light weight and simple to dress & accesories.

My favorite type of maxi is the cotton one-
 It's perfect as its fitted and then loosens to still create a flowing hem line.
Add a matching tank top & break up the monocrome with a chunky belt to accentuate your waist.
Summery strapy sandles are great for maxi's & they match the belt ;)
Add a cute sadle bag, Chuncky bangles and a statement cocktail ring to add a dash of Bohemian to your look!
For make-up all you need is a dramatic somkey eye to bring colour to your face.

I'm a girly girl. I like roses and chocolates and the idea of a whole day devoted entirely to love.

I'll be keeping things simple and cassic.

I love this red dress, so romatic & classy.

Add some peals and a simple silver braclet,

Nude pumps for a dramatic change from the red, teamed with my dream chanel tote (in nude!)

for make up a simple liquid liner to define your eyes, some nude eyeshaow & blush for some shape and definitition.

For totally kissable lips you cant go past nude lipstick!

A dash of perfume & a soft curl and your all dolled up and ready to be loved up!

Okay, if by now you are still unaware of my obsession  adoration of this woman then you don't read this blog enough!

One of my dreams is to dress her one day, even for an hour. 

Not that she needs my help.

But heres what i'd put her in:

This wrap dress is super cute and perfect for Lauren,

It still keeps with her classy style but adds a casual twist.

This Rebecca Minkoff Striped tote is so adorable & defiantly on my wish list,

The strips add an extra casual detail to the look.

Add navy nail polish, cute brown pumps & Laurens signature Wishbone necklace & a simple gold bangle for accessories.

For makeup- winged liquid liner, long lashes, nude lips and some neutral blush  

for a slick classy-casual look.

I'd keep Laurens hair in that same flawless wave =]

Aussie Polly

The Aussie chick behind the game- Danimezza

This weeks theme-

I have to admit that im not patriotic when it comes to Australia Day.

I'll have a BBQ and watch the fire works but i don't wear, fake tattoo, or  carry the Aussie flag on me....ever.

This is what i wore yesterday; we had a BBQ at a friends with some good Aussie music

(Keith Urban) and some yummy snags! lol

(Note: that is as Aussie as i get!^^^)

I love my 3/4 denims..they are perfect for the hot weather. 
I teamed it with a simple loose fitting singlet and some breezy flat sandals

( i wish i could own these LANVIN Flip-flops )

Make-up i kept simple with sunscreen, lip gloss & mascara.

I kept my jewelry the same- only wearing a simple necklace.

Sun protection goes hand in hand with this day and this country so i made sure i had my cute beach hat and favorite sunnies with me!

Im not a fan of luging around a huge bag around in the heat so i love my little X-shoulder bags,

they are perfect for holding the essentials and still very stylish! =D

The kick ass chick behind the idea-Danimezza.
This weeks theme:

...The Palace was engulfed in ashes and flames,
But Polly walked out unscathed and in triumph as she slid her YSL sunglasses over her nose, the last little present she's left for Miss Unfashionable went off in the background.
Polly's slick patent heels took her further and further away from the scene of her crime.
Lucky she hadn't ruined her perfect panel dress or smudged her red lipstick & liquid liner,
That would have been a crime in & of itself!!!
Polly opened her favorite patent clutch and  pulled out the Gun she'd used to kill Miss Unfashionable sidekick, (volume mascara can get you anywhere) and threw it into the bushes  that lined the The Palace.
Thank god she brought those bowed gloves with her the last thing she need was evidence against her.
Polly then lit up a cigarette and walked out the big metal gates.
She had competed her mission and her client would be happy...Heck Polly was proud of her self.. If only she knew her real name...
