Jewelry & cupcakes::

"Hello,
My name is Neysha and im addicted to jewellery."

...
I literally have so much of it that I could open my own diva store.
Most of the smaller stuff fits perfectly into little bags, which then go into this box.

But with fashion always changing and things like bib necklaces becoming popular, and my inability to walk past a store like Diva, Lovisa, equip & Collette, and not go inside... I needed something that can hold my jewellery without stretching the ribbons, or it all getting tangled.
The other problem I had was that because of the mountainous amount that Ive accumulated over the years I don't know what I have,So I need them displayed.

Then I looked at my cupcake stand,
And realized that it would make a great Jewellery stand for my "theatre pieces".
 I like to have them on "display" instead of in a box, so I don't forget, so this handy little number holds my nice theatre jewellery in my closet on my shoe/handbag cupboard.

This particular Cupcake stand was $12 from Kmart but im sure you can find it cheaper or different ones depending on your collection. Its extremely easy to put together, and is really sturdy.
  I really like how it holds my bigger pieces, like the (extremely heavy) purple rhinestone flower ring (lovisa $50.... No im not kidding!!) & flower headband (Diva, $10), perfectly, and the white swirls are cute.

Just a different way too display your jewelry :)

{TSL}'s Halloween Closet:: WALKING DEAD

It's that time of year again, where It's socially acceptable to dress like a freak, a monster, or for girls (as famously said by LiLo in 'Mean Girls'- ) a slut, and no one can say anything about it!
But did you know that your Halloween costume could already be in your closet?...

(or more accessable then hiring or buying a costume.)

So what are you going as for Halloween?...
A new Zombie?
This one's fun!
And easy.
All you need is a plain white T-shirt, and some three qauter pants... denim works well beacuse the soaks & looks aged...and everyone has it.
Here is the part where you'll cringe..Take sicssors to your shirt!
when i say this i dont mean your favorite or band new shirt from cotton on or sports girl..Im talking about the $5 shirt from K-mart I'm going to tell you to buy.
:: buy a $5 shirt from K-mart! ;p
Cut, slash, fray and mutilate however you please!!
*for an even better effect cut it and leave pieces hanging randomly and where a red or green tank top under your white shirt!*
If your feeling brave about running your clothes or need to let some EXtra (;]) frustration out fraying your jeans will definatly help the aesthetic =]
For your Zombie hair were going back to the 80's so whip out your crimper!
Crimp and hairspray random pieces of your hair making sure you and volume to the crown.
Zombie make-up is fun! (ask taylor momsen ;p)
Heavy black eyeshadow on the top & bottom lids with help sink your dead featchers.
{or tips & tutorials to get the best effect click here! Hes so awesome!!!}
Now your probably wondering why i have a brown palette in the set., this is to create depth and shadow in your skin (watch petrilude!)
Also for those of us that arnt really keen on getting dirt and rubbing it into your clothes or skin.
(though it probablyu look better to get real dirt)
If your going for real dirt you might aswell go ahead and add some twiggs to your hair and some in clothes. its halloween why not!
Normally i do everything in my power to make sure/ repair chipped nails... in this instants paint your nails roughly and chip them, then for the finishing touch::
Corn syrup & Red food dye= BLOOD!
Thankyou Dexter!
Dont be afriad to look horribly disgusting remember your dead!

walking dead
{MORE, Halloween costume ideas coming soon!)

Fashion on a budget??...what budget??...

Yer,Yer I know-
"Neysha....what... are you talking about?"

Fashion doesn't have to cost you your wages.
Granted you can not make your own pair of Chuck Taylor All Stars.
But you can get close for $6.00.
(Do you really care about the star in a circle?)

ahhh it's a gold mine.
I have trusty basics, fail safe shoes, and dress jewelry that i wear over & over and....
There is alot there you just have to know what your looking for!
As i said-Kmart is fantastic for basics-
ballet flats ($10)
One tone t-shirts & singlets. ($7)
etc.
You can find something that will work with something else.
I guarantee you.

Yep,not a massive fan.
but it has to be doing something right.
For me-there are only 3 things that i ever willingly go into supre for.
-tights.
-really massively huge shirts & jerseys.
& basic tops.
Their sizes are off, the music is crap, the designs are sometimes just....well tea-towels.
the customer "service" is...well anything but service.
I was once literally asked-
"why are you here Hun? big city chic is on the floor 2"
Umm "Hun" im  a supre size 14 you bloody....
*siigh*
moving on.
Now supre ;like Kmart is a "basics" brand.
Everything spawned by Satan..Supre is a basic cut or colour.
(& stitching *cough*)
Yes supre is cheap-but why pay $10 for a singlet when you can pay $5!
Supre has clearance stores & a warehouse.
like Haymarket in the city
